1, Cylindrical milling cutter


Used for horizontal milling machine to process the plane. The teeth of the cutter are distributed on the circumference of the milling cutter, and are divided into straight teeth and spiral teeth according to the shape of the teeth. 2, Face milling cutter

(2), good heat resistance: the tool will generate a lot of heat in the cutting process, especially at higher cutting speeds, the temperature will be very high, therefore, the tool material should have good heat resistance, both at high temperatures can still maintain high hardness, there can continue to cut performance, this has the nature of high temperature hardness, also known as hot hardness or red hardness.


(3), high strength and good toughness: in the cutting process, the tool to withstand a lot of impact, so the tool material should have a high strength, otherwise easy to break and damage. As the milling cutter will be subject to shock and vibration, so the milling cutter material should also have good toughness, before it is not easy to collapse the edge, broken.
